Dhaka, Sept. 9 -- A polling officer was removed from duty at the Curzon Hall center during the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election after he was caught giving a voter a ballot paper that had already been marked.
The officer, identified as Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury, is an official of Amar Ekushey Hall.
Around 11:15 am. on Tuesday, Returning Officer A.M. Mohiuddin ordered his withdrawal from the Curzon Hall examination center following the incident.
When leaving the center, the polling officer avoided questions from journalists and declined to make any comment on the matter.
