Dhaka, Aug. 30 -- The central mosque of Dhaka University is set to be rebuilt with financial support from Turkey's largest private aid organisation, IDDEF.

The new mosque complex will feature modern facilities along with opportunities for education and research, according to a press release issued by the Public Relations Office on Friday.

The release stated that IDDEF's International Coordinator, Salahuddin Ceylan, met with Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan to discuss different aspects of the mosque complex construction on Friday.
