Dhaka, March 4 -- Professor Dr M Aminul Islam, Special Assistant (with the rank of State Minister) to the Ministry of Education, is being appointed as an adviser to the interim government.

According to sources, the oath-taking ceremony will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday (March 5) at Bangabhaban.

Dr M Aminul Islam was the vice chancellor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, he taught at the Department of Physics at Rajshahi University.
