Dhaka, Oct. 30 -- As part of the ongoing campaign to bring traffic system under control, Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,583 cases against vehicles, owners and its drivers for violating traffic rules.

Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that the DMP traffic division conducted campaign against traffic breakers during the last one day and filed the cases, reports BSS.

He said that the DMP traffic police dumped 336 motor vehicles and towed 114 vehicles during the campaign against traffic rule violations on October 29.
