Dhaka, June 8 -- Adviser Asif Mahmud said the extensive cleanliness drive in the capital was completed in less than 12 hours with coordinated efforts.

"Those who keep this city clean in exchange for their sweat are our silent heroes. Clean Dhaka in less than 12 hours - this is the power of work, this is the story of dedication. They are not in a campaign, but their work is the face of the city. Deep respect to the real heroes of Eid ul-Azha," he said.

Asif Mahmud made the remarks in a post on his verified Facebook account, as per a BSS report.
