Dhaka, Jan. 23 -- A Dhaka court has summoned the income tax documents belonging to former food minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Thursday, following a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The anti-graft agency's Deputy Director Aminul Islam told bdnews24.com that Deputy Assistant Director Afnan Jannat Keya had sought the decision in a petition filed at the court.
The petition said Majumder owned Tk 253.4 million in assets beyond his known sources of income, according to bdnews24.com.
