Dhaka, May 7 -- A Dhaka court on Wednesday ordered to send actor Siddiqur Rahman alias Siddique to jail in a case filed for an attempt to kill a rickshaw-van driver Abdul Jabbar Howlader during last year's student-led July-August Mass Uprising.

After completion of seven-day remand, a team of Gulshan Thana police produced Siddique before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court and prayed for his confinement till the end of the investigation into the case.
