Dhaka, Jan. 28 -- The Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court on Tuesday instructed the concerned authorities to preserve the foreign currencies and gold ornaments of former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Sitangshu Kumar (SK) Sur Chowdhury, in the vault of Bangladesh Bank (BB).

Md Zakir Hossain Galib, the judge of the court, passed the order following a petition submitted by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The foreign currencies and gold ornaments were seized by the ACC from his lockers at Bangladesh Bank, BSS reports.

ACC lawyer Mahmud Hossain Jahangir told the BSS news agency that ACC Deputy Director Nazmul Hussain had prayed to the court to preserve the foreign currencies, including US dollars, Euros, and gold ornaments, at an a...
