Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- A Dhaka Court on Sunday allowed the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to interrogate Masud Biswas, the former head of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), at the jail gate in a graft case.

Judge of the Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court in Dhaka, Md Zakir Hossain, passed the order after hearing a petition filed by the ACC seeking Masud on seven-day remand.

The court at the same time sent Masud Biswas to jail after rejecting his bail prayer in the case.

Anti-Corruption Commission Public Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir who appeared in the court hearing in the case confirmed the court order to the FE.
