Dhaka, June 4 -- The government has set up a control room to monitor preservation, transportation, buy and sale of rawhide of sacrificial animals during this Eid-ul-Azha, officials said.

The officials who will be involved with the control room will take necessary steps promptly, if any problem arises in this regard, they added.

The government has already adopted a comprehensive monitoring plan to oversee the prices and collection of rawhide of sacrificial animals, a senior commerce ministry official said.
