Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- A cold wave is sweeping over six districts, including Rajshahi, Pabna, and Naogaon, as Bangladesh nears the end of the Bengali month of Magh, according to the Met Office.
The situation is likely to persist through Sunday, Meteorologist Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik said on Saturday.
"The cold wave will continue tomorrow, but it is unlikely to spread further," he told bdnews24.com.
However, he forecast a gradual rise in temperatures across the country from Monday.
According to the Met Office's regular bulletin, a mild cold wave is affecting Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Moulvibazar, and Chuadanga.
