Dhaka, Nov. 3 -- The Mirpur DOHS Animal Welfare Society (MDAWS), a voluntary animal welfare organisation, in collaboration with Mirpur DOHS Parishad, has launched the 5th round of its CNVR (Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release) campaign today (Monday) to ensure humane treatment, safety, and dignified coexistence between humans and animals within the community.

Since 2019, MDAWS has successfully completed four CNVR rounds, bringing hundreds of stray dogs in Mirpur DOHS under vaccination and sterilisation coverage, according to a media release.

On the first day of this round, 12 dogs have been sent to a local veterinary clinic for procedures.
