Dhaka, May 31 -- Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao arrived in Dhaka on Saturday to discuss trade and investment opportunities with Bangladesh and elevate the 'Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership' between the two countries to a new height.
Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin will host a dinner in honour of the visiting Chinese Commerce Minister today (Saturday) in addition to holding their bilateral meeting.
During his two-day visit, the minister is scheduled to meet Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Sunday, in addition to his other engagements, a senior official told UNB news agency.
