Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Professor Muhammad Yunus, chief adviser to the Interim Government, visited the Aynaghor-secret cells where victims of enforced disappearances were held-on Wednesday. During his visit, local and international journalists, along with family members of the victims, were present.
Dr Yunus inspected three Aynaghor centres located in Agargaon, Kochukhet, and Uttara in Dhaka. The visit was attended by a small group of media representatives and relatives of those who were subjected to torture under the rule of the ousted Awami League government.
The visit focused on the experiences of the victims and the ongoing efforts to address the injustices they endured.
