Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- The Core Banking System (CBS) upgrade program of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC is currently underway with the objective of enhancing technological capabilities, building a modern banking infrastructure, and ensuring safer, faster, and uninterrupted banking services for customers.

The CBS upgrade program was officially initiated on 30 January 2026, according to a press release.

In line with the ongoing technology-driven transformation of the banking sector and with the aim of delivering international-standard banking services, the Bank has undertaken this comprehensive CBS upgrade initiative.
