Dhaka, May 3 -- Canada's Indo-Pacific Trade Representative Paul Thoppil is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on Saturday, leading a business delegation for a four-day official visit.
In Bangladesh, Mr Thoppil will meet with key members of Bangladesh's interim government, other stakeholders, and leaders from the private sector, said a spokesperson for the Canadian High Commission in Dhaka.
During his visit, he will underscore Canada's commitment to Bangladesh at a pivotal moment in the country's history as it pursues democratic reforms toward a free and fair election.
