Dhaka, Feb. 1 -- The camp commander allegedly involved in the death of Jubo Dal leader Touhidul Islam (40), who was arrested from Cumilla's Adarshs Sadar Upazila, has been immediately withdrawn.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday (February 1), Touhidul Islam was arrested by a joint force on January 31 at 3:00 pm from the Adarsha Sadar upazila in Cumilla, based on specific allegations. Later that day, at 12:30 pm, he was pronounced dead at Cumilla Medical College Hospital.
