Dhaka, May 7 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday welcomed Canada's Indo-Pacific Trade Representative Paul Thoppil at the State Guesthouse Jamuna, where the two sides discussed ways to deepen bilateral economic cooperation and expand investment opportunities.

Mr Thoppil, on his second official visit to Bangladesh, is leading a high-level business delegation comprising senior executives from some of Canada's most recognisable companies, including Bell Helicopter, BlackBerry, Gildan Activewear, JCM Power, and Advantech Wireless Communications, said a spokesperson for the CA Office.
