Dhaka, Sept. 1 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has stressed the need to streamline the army's role in assisting the civil administration, with a clearly defined command structure and close coordination among all forces in the coming months ahead of the elections.

He made the remarks on Monday during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Wakar-Uz-Zaman, according to a spokesperson of the Chief Adviser.
