Dhaka, Dec. 1 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep condolences to Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake following the tragic loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by 'Cyclone Ditwah', one of the worst weather-related disasters to hit the island nation in recent years.
"I am deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of lives and the widespread devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah, which has brought one of the worst weather-related disasters Sri Lanka has faced in recent years," he wrote to the Sri Lankan President in a message on Friday.
