Dhaka, May 23 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus had closed-door discussions with the two student advisers of the interim government and National Citizen Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam on Thursday evening amid some fast developments.
They discussed "issues related to the current political situation", sources inside the NCP, the recently floated political platform of a section of the July protesters, told the FE after the meeting held at the state guesthouse Jamuna.
The meeting with Nahid took place at around 7.30pm, preceded by another one the CA had with two advisers of his council: Mahfuj Alam and Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan.
