Dhaka, June 7 -- After attending the Eid-ul-Azha congregation at the National Eidgah premises, Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has called on everyone to pray for the welfare of Bangladesh.

On Saturday, he prayed in the front row at the Eidgah grounds adjacent to the High Court. After the sermon, he took part in the prayer service.

After the service, Khatib Mufti Muhammad Abdul Malek of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque came forward and exchanged Eid greetings with the chief advisor as they took part in the traditional embrace. Yunus then exchanged greetings with three other advisors, reports bdnews24.com.
