Dhaka, Jan. 28 -- The results of the preliminary admission test for undergraduate programmes at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the 2024-25 academic year were published on Monday.

The results were published on the university's official website.

A total of 7,552 candidates were selected, with 2,520 candidates in the first shift, 2,512 in the second shift, and 2,520 in the third, as per a local media report.

The test took place on Thursday (January 23) in three shifts at the BUET campus.

A total of 24,211 candidates participated, including 17,339 male and 6,872 female students.

The final admission test is scheduled to be held on February 13.
