Dhaka, Feb. 10 -- BSMMU is going to introduce online appointment for outpatient department (OPD) patients so they can receive treatment without any hassle.

"In order to improve the quality of medical services in the OPD, the BSMMU authority has taken this initiative," BSS reports, citing a BSMMU statement released today (Monday).

To this end, a meeting of the university was held today at the conference hall of its Super Specialized Hospital.

BSMMU has taken the move to reduce the suffering of patients, avoid unnecessary crowding, save time for patients, avoid the hassle of collecting tickets for OPD in standing in long lines, and ensure improved and satisfactory medical services for patients.
