Dhaka, June 26 -- The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed four Bangladeshi nationals across the Feni border.

The incident took place early Thursday morning, and the four individuals have been detained, confirmed Lieutenant Colonel Mir Ali Ejaz, captain of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Feni Battalion-10, reports bdnews24.com.

The detainees have been identified as Tahidul Alam from Chattogram's Fatikchhari, his wife Hajera Khatun, their son Md Shoeb, and daughter Mosammat Shabnam.

According to Tahidul, he had travelled to India with his wife in 1979 in search of work. The couple had been living there for many years and had two children during their stay.
