Dhaka, Feb. 4 -- After the successful completion of the Core Banking System (CBS) upgrade program at Al-Arafah Islami Bank, only cash transactions and branch-based banking services will resume from Thursday, February 5, 2026.

The Core Banking System upgrade has been undertaken to enhance technological capacity, build a modern banking infrastructure, and ensure safer, faster, and uninterrupted banking services for customers, according to a media release.
