Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- BRAC Bank organized a School Banking Conference in Brahmanbaria.

The bank arranged the conference as the lead bank under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank, according to a media release.

The conference aimed to educate students about banking services and instil a savings culture with the necessary financial knowledge and awareness from an early age.

The event brought together all banks operating in Brahmanbaria, along with many students, teachers, parents, and guardians, to promote awareness of modern banking practices and financial literacy, the release says.

The countrywide awareness program is part of Bangladesh Bank's financial inclusion and financial literacy initiative.
