Dhaka, March 24 -- Bangladesh Railway (BR) will launch new commuter trains on Dhaka-Narsingdi-Bhairab Bazar-Dhaka route and replace the rake of coaches on Dhaka-Narayanganj route on March 26, marking the Independence Day.
Road Transport and Bridges and Railways Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan will inaugurate the new trains at Kamalapur Railway Station, welcoming commuters from Bhairab Bazar.
On the same day, Narayanganj commuter train will be replaced with the rake of 11 renovated coaches completing all eight-pair commuter trains.
