Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- A bomb found in the premises of Carew & Company Limited in Chuadanga's Darshana was successfully defused by a specialised bomb disposal team from Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

"The RAB-5 bomb disposal team successfully recovered and defused the bomb. We are investigating to identify who planted it and uncover the motive," said Officer-in-Charge Shahid Titumir of Darshana Police Station.

The suspicious object, wrapped in red tape, was discovered in a bush near the club around 11:30 am on Thursday by the company's security personnel. Upon spotting the object, they immediately informed Darshana Police Station and the local army camp, reports UNB.
