Dhaka, Feb. 23 -- A local BNP leader has been injured in an alleged bomb attack in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
The attack took place around 11:00 pm on Saturday at Mirzapur Mor, leaving 35-year-old Enam Khan, general secretary of Ichapura Union BNP, injured.
He later confirmed the incident himself, reports UNB.
Recalling the attack, he said, "I was having tea with a few party leaders and activists at Mirzapur Mor when assailants arrived on motorcycles and hurled three bombs at us before speeding away.
"I suffered injuries on different parts of my hand. The loud explosions triggered panic among locals. We later informed the police, who arrived to inspect the scene."
