Dhaka, April 2 -- Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok, Thailand on April 4, officials in Dhaka and Delhi confirmed on Wednesday afternoon.
"I can tell you that the meeting will take place," a senior official in Dhaka told UNB without elaborating further.
Meanwhile, New Delhi also hinted positively about the meeting. "It is expected that they'll meet," a source in New Delhi.
However, the interim government says there is a high possibility that the two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit, reports UNB.
