Dhaka, Dec. 18 -- Biman Bangladesh Airlines has introduced body-worn cameras for staff involved in baggage handling at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka, aiming to strengthen security, transparency and accountability in ground handling operations.

Under the initiative, traffic staff responsible for baggage handling and transportation have been equipped with body cameras to monitor the movement of luggage throughout the handling process.

According to the airline, the system will allow continuous monitoring of baggage from the aircraft hold to the conveyor belt and onward to passengers for Biman's domestic flights, as well as for international airlines that receive ground handling services from the national flag carri...
