Dhaka, Nov. 15 -- The Bangladesh Educational and Counselling Psychology Society (BECPS) has officially recognised four psychologists as full-fledged professional psychologists for completing their MS and MPhil degrees in educational psychology and counselling psychology.

The recognition was announced at the society's annual general meeting (AGM), held on Friday at Dhaka University's (DU) Senate Building. The meeting was presided over by BECPS President Prof Shahin Islam.

Mostaq Ahmed Imran was recognised as an educational psychologist; and Sadeka Banu, Raufun Nahar, and Maryam Sultana were recognised as counselling psychologists.
