Dhaka, Aug. 4 -- Bangladesh, as the current chair of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), needs to focus on boosting trade among member countries by easing visa rules, improving customs systems, and supporting digital payments.
The International Chamber of Commerce-Bangladesh (ICCB) said this in the editorial of its current News Bulletin (April-June 2025) released on Sunday.
