Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- The interim government has launched the 'Bangladesh Climate Development Partnership (BCDP)' to foster collaboration and mobilise climate funds.
Environment, forests and climate change, and water resources adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan said this on Sunday while emphasising the need for greater financial and institutional support for the ministry.
She said external funding be sought with integrity, ensuring the empowerment of the ministry while avoiding duplication of efforts.
The adviser also called for concessional loans to ensure sustainability, highlighting the government's commitment to prioritising climate change initiatives.
