Dhaka, April 24 -- A business-to-business (B2B) meet between Japan and Bangladesh was held in Tokyo on Tuesday with an aim to foster bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
Fourteen Bangladeshi companies from diverse sectors -- including power, engineering, construction, logistics, shipping, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) management, ICT parks, real estate & hospitality, healthcare, machinery, automobiles and consultancy services, participated in the event.
The day-long programme served as a good platform for strengthening Bangladesh-Japan economic relations and showcasing Bangladesh as a competitive destination for Japanese investments.
