Dhaka, April 15 -- A three-member team from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) conducted a raid at the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) headquarters in Mirpur on Tuesday noon following allegations of illegal transactions and other irregularities.
ACC official Mahmudul Hasan confirmed the matter to the media.
Speaking at a press briefing after the raid, the ACC official said the enforcement operation was carried out following complaints of corruption in the selection process of various cricket leagues under the cricket board.
He also expressed concerns over ticket sales for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The ACC will investigate these issues, the official added.
