Dhaka, June 3 -- The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) on Monday cleared the way for the Bangladesh Bank (BB)-appointed administrator to continue with the mobile financial service (MFS) provider 'Nagad'.
The apex court has stayed an order, passed on May 7 by its Chamber Judge, suspending the decision to appoint the administrator to manage the MFS organisation.
A five-member bench of the Appellate Division, headed by Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam, passed the order after hearing a petition filed by the BB, seeking a stay on the Chamber Judge's order.
