Dhaka, Nov. 19 -- The central bank has allowed Bangladeshi residents to purchase air tickets from airlines operating within the country using international cards, aiming to ensure competitive pricing and improve customer convenience.
"To facilitate fair pricing, convenience and market competitiveness, it has been decided that resident Bangladeshi nationals, having visas where applicable, may use their international cards for purchase of air tickets from airlines operating in Bangladesh for travelling abroad," the Bangladesh Bank (BB) said in a notification on Wednesday.
