Dhaka, Jan. 24 -- A bank official has died after falling from the rooftop of a residential building in Dhaka's North Badda.

The body of 30-year-old Subir Biswas was recovered on Friday afternoon from outside the building and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors said he had already died. The body was later sent to the hospital morgue.

Subir was a junior officer at Janata Bank's Narayanganj branch, bdnews24.com reports.

Badda Police Station chief (OC) Nasirul Islam said Subir had been staying at his sister's home in Dhaka while undergoing treatment for mental health issues.
