Dhaka, July 15 -- A Bangladeshi migrant worker was killed and five others injured after a 17-tier storage rack collapsed at a glove factory named 'Glov Master Factory' at Kampung Olak Lempit village in Kuala Langat district of Malaysia on Tuesday.
The deceased, Mohammad Rahman (33), was pronounced dead at the spot after being extricated from the debris by rescue teams, according to the New Straits Times report.
Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director of Operations, said they received a distress call at 10.54 am about the incident, and a team from the KLIA Fire and Rescue Station arrived at 11.05 am.
