Dhaka, March 29 -- A rescue team from the Bangladesh Armed Forces is set to depart for Myanmar on a special flight on Sunday in response to the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.
The team will deliver essential medicines, relief materials, rescue, and medical assistance, UNB reports citing a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.
A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on Friday, resulting in the deaths of over 1,600 people.
