Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Bangladesh has been ranked 14th in the list of the "most corrupt" countries out of 180, according to Transparency International (TI), an international anti-corruption organisation. This marks the lowest score for Bangladesh in the last 13 years.
The country received a score of 23, which is the same as that of Congo and Iran. According to the ranking, Bangladesh is placed at 151st position based on its high-ranking status.
On Tuesday (February 11), at a press conference held at the TI Bangladesh office in Dhanmondi to release the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2024, TIB Executive Director Dr Iftekharuzzaman shared the details.
