Dhaka, Aug. 11 -- Organized by Cinemascope, the film will be screened on August 16, 2025, at 5:00 pm at the Dhanmondi Campus-A Auditorium of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).
After screening at over 40 leading universities and institutions worldwide-including Yale University, New York University, UCLA, University of Chicago, UC Berkeley, and Boston University-the internationally acclaimed documentary film The Ice Cream Sellers will finally make its Bangladesh premiere in Dhaka, according to a media release.
Directed by Bangladeshi-Portuguese filmmaker and teacher Sohel Rahman, The Ice Cream Sellers tells the poignant story of two Rohingya siblings navigating life in the world's largest refugee camp in Cox's Bazar.
