Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on Monday expressed Bangladesh's desire for a "deeper cooperation" in energy sector with Oman and requested a guaranteed energy supply from the country in the Middle East.
On the sidelines of the 8th Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) in Muscat, the Foreign Affairs Adviser met with Foreign Minister of Oman Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and discussed various issues of mutual interest.
The foreign minister of Oman welcomed Foreign Affairs Adviser Hossain to Oman, according to a UNB report.
Both sides expressed satisfaction over the excellent bilateral relations the two countries are enjoying.
