Dhaka, May 12 -- The 18th edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo commenced on Monday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, aiming to help the industry enhance its capacity and foster innovation to navigate the uncertain times of tariffs and trade wars.

A total of 57 exhibitors from 13 countries, including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, China, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Vietnam, and the USA, participated in the two-day show to showcase their products.

Bangladesh emerged as the fastest-growing apparel exporter to the United States in the first quarter of 2025, recording the highest year-on-year growth of 26.64 per cent, said Mostafiz Uddin, founder and CEO of the Bangladesh Denim Expo.
