Dhaka, Jan. 4 -- Bangladesh will not travel to India to take part in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup, following a decision made by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

The decision was taken at a board meeting held on Sunday afternoon, attended by 17 BCB directors. The board decided not to send the national team to India for the tournament.

The move comes in the wake of Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman being dropped from his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise. In response to the development, BCB directors held an online meeting on Saturday night to discuss possible courses of action.
