Dhaka, Dec. 2 -- Bangladesh and Myanmar fishery sector leaders teamed up to help boost trade growth and market expansion of the fisheries industries of the two countries.

In this connection, Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters Association (BFFEA) and Myanmar Fishery Products Processors and Exporters Association (MPEA) on Tuesday signed an agreement at a meeting held at the former's office in the city, according to a statement.

BFFEA president Muhammad Shahjahan Chowdhury and Aung Naing (Md. Hafiz), on behalf of MPEA, signed the agreement.

A five-member MPEA delegation led by Aung Naing is visiting Bangladesh and held a meeting with BFFEA leaders.
