Dhaka, Feb. 25 -- Condemning the recent unwanted incidents the Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA) interim committee on Monday demanded immediate arrest of those who attacked and vandalised the association's office.

The Member Secretary of the BEA interim committee Mohammed Helal Uddin made the appeal at a press conference held Monday at the Economic Reporters' Forum (ERF) office in the city.

At the press conference he mentioned that a self-proclaimed ad-hoc committee committed attacks on February 12 and February 17 in a bid to foil the association's elections.
