Dhaka, June 4 -- ATM Sajedul Huq, one of the most celebrated English language teachers in Bangladesh, has passed away after prolonged illness.
He died at a hospital on Wednesday. He was 61, reports bdnews24.com.
The son of Prof ATM Zahurul Huq, a former chair of the University Grants Commission and Dhaka University economics professor and DUTA president for several terms, Sajed served as director of ULAB's English Language Centre.
He taught at several universities in Bangladesh and Thailand, including BRAC University, the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, and Chiang Mai University. He was a popular lecturer and was also known for developing courses for top corporate executives in Thailand and Bangladesh.
